Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe Comic Coming In August
What’s going on Herotaku Nation!? XBen3000 is back and I’m here to give you some news today. Today, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe was announced. The comic book series is set to come out in August of this year. The series will be focused on various supporting characters such as April O’Neil, Casey Jones, Fugitoid, Old Hob, Nobody, Harold, and Baxter Stockman to name a few. This series will be written by Paul Allor. Damian Coucerio will be in charge of the artwork. Tom Waltz, Kevin Eastman and artist Bill Sienkiewicz will be doing back-up stories.
To quote Bobby Curnow, series editor of this upcoming series.
“Essentially, over the past four-plus years our TMNT world has grown too large to contain to one monthly title. There are dozens of fan-favorite characters. In short, we need a second title to do the ‘TMNT Universe’ justice,” also adding on the following as well. ” “With two series we can flesh out these supporting characters more and devote greater time to the Turtles themselves and expanding their world. Our aim is to tell stories that are self-contained but complementary to the original ongoing TMNT title.”
