ЯeaL to Perform New Ending Theme for Boruto Anime

The recent issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed that the band ЯeaL will be performing the new ending theme song for the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime series. The ending theme song titled, “Tsuyogari Loser,” will premiere in January. The song will replace the current ending theme song titled, “Polaris,” which is performed by Hitorie. The new ending theme song will be available as a single on February 20 and an “anime size” version of the song will be available early as a digital release on January 7. 2nd Live-Action Tokyo Ghoul Film Details Announced

The official Tokyo Ghoul live-action film website has updated with some details for the upcoming film. The film currently titled, “Tokyo Ghoul 2,” will premiere in theaters in Japan in Summer 2019. Shochicku, the distributor for the film, also revealed an official movie still of the film. NYCC 2018: Viz Media Announces Boruto Anime Home Video Release

Viz Media announced that they will be releasing the Naruto: Boruto Next Generations anime series on home video during the Shonen Jump panel at New York Comic Con 2018. The series will be released on home video in Spring 2019. For those who are not aware, the Naruto: Boruto Next Generations is based on the spin-off manga series that features Naruto’s son, Boruto. The series originally premiered in Japan in April 2017. SDCC 2018: Viz Media to Release Netflix Castlevania Series on Home Video

Viz Media announced at San Diego Comic Con 2018 that they have licensed the first season of the Netflix original Castlevania series. For those who are unaware, the Castlevania animated series is based on the video game franchise of the same name. The first season launched on the service on July 2017 and consisted of four 30 minute episodes. As reported earlier this July the second season will consists of eight episodes and will premiere on the service on October 26 with a third season still in production. Viz Media has recently announced they have licensed the second season for the One Punch Man anime series. Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! Home Video Trailer Streamed

Viz Media has updated their official Youtube channel with the home video release trailer for Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! For those who haven’t been following the film was a re-imagining of the original anime series. The film premiered in Japan last July and was later released internationally via Fathom events last November.  The film also premiered on Disney XD later that same month. Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on February 13.   


Mazinger Z: INFINITY – Official Theatrical Clip Streamed

Viz Media has posted an official theatrical clip for Mazinger Z: Infinity on their official Youtube channel.  The clip features a preview of the battle between Great Mazinger and the mechanical beasts; Garada and Doublass. Mazinger Z: Infinity will premiere as a two day event in theaters on February 11 and February 12. Those who are interested can order their tickets at the link listed below.

Viz Media has recently updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for the Mazinger Z Infinity film.  The trailer features a preview of the film’s setting and reveals that the film will have a limited theatrical release in North America via Fathom Events. The film will be screened in theaters on February 11–February 12 and will feature the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. Fathom Events also provided a synopsis for the film. Ultraman Manga Receives Anime Adaptation for 2019

Over the past few days, Tsuburaya Productions had a countdown clock running pertaining to Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi’s Ultraman manga. Viz Media Licenses 2 Pokémon Sun & Moon Manga

Viz Media has announced at New York Comic Con 2017 that they have licensed two new Pokémon Sun & Moon Manga titles. The first manga series is the Pokémon Sun & Moon (Pocket Monsters Special Sun Moon) manga series by Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto.  The second title is Pokémon Horizon: Sun & Moon by Tenya Yabuno.  They have also licensed the Pompom Pokémon craft book. The Pokémon Adventures (Pocket Monsters: Special) manga series’ Sun/Moon arc debuted in the CoroCoro Ichiban! magazine on November 21, 2016. Viz Media has recently announced at Anime Weekend Alanta 2017 that they have licensed the Infini-T Force anime series and film.  Under the license Viz media will focus on marketing “digital streaming, electronic sell-through, home video, and merchandise for North America, Latin America and Oceania. Pokémon: Indigo League Blu-Ray Release Announced

Recently pre-orders have opened up at Barnes & Noble, which reveals that VIZ Media will be releasing Pokémon: Indigo League: Season 1 on Blu-ray.  This release marks the first time the English dub of the original season of the anime series has been released in this format.  Season 1 of the original anime series will be released on November 14 priced at the MSRP of $69.99.  Those who are interested can pre-order their copy at the link below.

Stardust Crusaders Heads to Toonami

Over the weekend, it was announced that Jojo Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusader’s dub will be joining the Toonami Line just like its predecessors. The official website for the Live-Action film adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul has updated with a new visual for the film. According to ANN the text featured in the visual reads as “,The only entity who knows of the two worlds of humans and ghouls.” The website also revealed some new cast members, which include: Masataka Kubota – Ken Kaneki Fumika Shimizu – Tōka Kirishima Yuu Aoi – Rize Kamishiro Yo Oizumi – Kureo Mado The live-action adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul will premiere in Japanese theaters on July 29.
