Mark Wahlberg to Attend Hascon 2017

Hasbro has officially announced that Mark Wahlberg will be attending as a guest at Hascon 2017.  For those who are unaware Mark Wahlberg portrayed Cade Yaeger in both Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight. Hascon 2017 will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center on September 8-10. Transformers: The Last Knight Home Video Special Features Revealed

Blu-ray.com has updated with home video release details for Transformers: The Last Knight.  The film is set to release on September 26. Official Images: Transformers Legends LG – EX Metroplex

Takara Tomy has recently revealed that they will be reissuing Transformers Generations Metroplex.  Transformers Legends LG – EX Metroplex will include all the contents of the previous release and is set to be released in January 2018 priced at 27,000 Yen.  The figure will include: Scamper Large Blasters X 2 Blaster X 2 The original Japanese version of Metroplex was released by Takara Tomy in 2013 so it is great to see the figure get reissued to go alongside Trypticon.

Recently new images of the upcoming Transformers Legends releases have surfaced online, which reveals a first look at the next releases in the line. The next wave of figures will be released in January 2018. Official Images: MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus

Recently images of the upcoming Transformers MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus aka Hot Rod have surfaced online.  The new images feature that the latest version of the character will feature a new paint scheme along with his Targetmaster Firebolt.  The figure will also feature a new slot that will allow Firebolt to be able to attach to his vehicular mode.  Transformers MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus will be released in February 2018.  


Hasbro Announces An Transformers Animated Theatrical Film

Hasbro has announced during their annual Media & Investor Day that a new Transformers Animated theatrical film is in the works by Boulder Media Studio and Allspark Pictures.   The team will also be working on animated films based on the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the Stretch Armstrong franchises.  With this announcement they have also revealed that they will be producing an animated feature film annually.  According to the Transformers Writers’ Room, the film will explore deeper into the Transformers live-action films.  No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.


Transformers: Cyberverse Animated Series Announced

Recently Hasbro held their annual Media & Investor Day.  During the event they revealed new plans for the Transformers franchise for the near future.  The first major project they revealed is brand new animated series produced by Boulder Media Studios. The latest series is titled, “Transformers: Cyberverse.” While not much concrete information regarding the series was shown at this time the first chapter is set to premiere in 2018. John Cena Cast In Bumblebee Spin-Off Film

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that John Cena will be joining the cast of the upcoming Bumblebee spin-off film.  He will be joining the cast, which consists of: Jorge Lendeborg, Jason Drucker, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow, Ricardo Hoyos and Gracie Dzienny.  The Hollywood Reporter also posted a short synopsis for the film. SDCC 2017: Transformers Power of the Primes

TFW2005 has posted photos of the new reveals at the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic Con 2017. Hasbro has revealed the new line of Transformers for 2018 under the Power of the Primes brand.  The newest incarnation of Transformers Generations will feature the ability to use the Prime Masters for added play value.  The various sparks will be released alongside the various figures throughout the line next year. TFNation 2017: Transformers Animated: Trial And Error Exclusive Comic Announced

The official website for TFNation has updated with the announcement that they will be offering an exclusive full length graphic novel based on Transformers Animated.  The comic titled “, Transformers Animated: Trial And Error,” is a 60 page graphic novel that will feature events of the unreleased fourth season of the series.  The comic will be written by Chris McFeely of TKWiki and Jim Soreson who worked on the Allspark Almanac. Transformers: Titan Returns Animated Series Cast Members Announced

Variety has reported some new casting details about the upcoming Transformers: Titan Returns animated series. Peter Cullen will be reprising his role as Optimus Prime and he will be joined by Wil Wheaton, Judd Nelson, Michael Dorn, and Jason David Frank.  Jon Bailey originally voiced Optimus Prime in Transformers: Combiner Wars so it will be interesting to see Peter Cullen return as the character alongside Judd Nelson.   The project will be overseen by F.J.
