Transformers: War For Cybertron Animated Series Heading to Netflix

Hasbro recently announced during their Toy Fair 2019 Hasbro Investor Preview Event that a new animated series based on the Transformers brand is in the works. The series will be titled, “Transformers: War For Cybertron,” and will be produced by Rooster Teeth and animated by Polygon Pictures. The series will be streamed exclusively on Netflix. Transformers Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Ectotron Figure Revealed

Hasbro has recently unveiled a new Ecto-1 Ectotron Transformer figure. As the name suggests the figure is a Transforming figure based on the Ecto-1, which is the main vehicle used by the Ghostbusters. The figure will include a weapon that seems to be replicating the Ghostbuster’s Proton Pack and Slimer. Cartoon Network recently released a new trailer for the second season for Transformers Cyberverse.The trailer features a look at the premise of the second season and showcases several of the new characters. Mazinger Z & Transformers Crossover Manga Announced

Tokyo Book Store Village Books has announced that a Mazinger Zand Transformers crossover manga will be released in Japan titled, “Mazinger Z X Transformers.” The manga will be written by Yuujin Ishikawa that will feature a summary by Naoto Tsushima. The manga is said to be illustrated similar to American style comics in where multiple artists will working on project instead of a single artist. “Bumblebee” Sequel Potentially in the Works

According to Deadline it has been reported that a sequel to the Bumblebee film is in development. Currently not much is known about the project, however any details about the project will be under wraps until after the animated film based on the Transformers franchise is complete. IDW “Transformers” Comic Announced – Before the War on Cybertron

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that IDW Publishing will be publishing a new comic series based on the Transformers that takes place before the war. The comic series simply titled, “Transformers,” will series will be released twice a month. Brian Ruckley will be working as the writer on the project. Angel Hernzadez and Ron Joseph will be working on the illustrations.
