2019 Pokémon Film Details Revealed

TOHO recently revealed details for the 2019 Pokémon film during their 2019 lineup presentation. The film will be titled, “Mewtwo’s Counterattack Evolution (Mew Two no Gyakushū Evolution) and it is set to premiere on July 12, 2019 in Japan. The film will be the 22nd overall film in the franchise. Legendary Pictures to Produce My Hero Academia Live-Action Film

Several news outlets have announced that a live-action film adaptation of the My Hero Academia franchise is in the works at Legendary Pictures. The project will be overseen by Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter for Legendary Pictures. Whereas, Ryosuke Yoritomi will oversee the project for Shueisha, who is the publisher of the manga. Studio Trigger & XFlag’s Promare Anime Trailer Streamed

My Hero Academia: Two Heroes English Dub Trailer Streamed

Funimation recently updated their official Youtube channel with an English Dub clip for the My Hero Academia Two Heroes film. As reported earlier, Funimation and TOHO hosted the worldwide debut of the film at Anime Expo ppm July 5 and the film later premiered in Japan on August 3. Toho has recently updated their official Youtube channel with a new promotional video for My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. The new promotional video features the film’s theme song titled, “Long Hope Philia,” which is performed by Masaki Suda and composed/ written by Hiromu Akita (amazarashi). Detective Pikachu Live-Action Film Moves to Warner Brothers

Several news outlets have reported that the live-action film adaptation for the Detective Pikachu spin-off video game is moving to Warner Brothers for distribution outside of Japan and China. New Cast Member for My Hero Academia: Two Heroes Film & Spin-off Manga Revealed

The recent issue of the Shonen Jump magazine has revealed a new cast member for the the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film. My Hero Academia Film Visual Revealed

Over the weekend, the official My Hero Academia film website updated with a new visual for the film. The latest features a look at Melissa and Devitt, who are two new characters that will make a debut appearance in the film. Mirai Shida will be voicing Melissa, who is a “quirkless girl,” and meets Deku on I Island. Her friend’s father, Devitt, will be voiced by Katushisa Namase. Devitt is a scientist who specializes in creating support items for heroes and was a friend of All Might when they were younger. Melissa tries her best to follow in Devitt’s footsteps.
