Official Images: Transformers Legends LG – EX Metroplex

Takara Tomy has recently revealed that they will be reissuing Transformers Generations Metroplex.  Transformers Legends LG – EX Metroplex will include all the contents of the previous release and is set to be released in January 2018 priced at 27,000 Yen.  The figure will include: Scamper Large Blasters X 2 Blaster X 2 The original Japanese version of Metroplex was released by Takara Tomy in 2013 so it is great to see the figure get reissued to go alongside Trypticon.  


Official Images: Transformers Legends: LG-58 Clone Box Set, LG-59 Blitzwing & LG-60 Overlord

Recently new images of the upcoming Transformers Legends releases have surfaced online, which reveals a first look at the next releases in the line. The next wave of figures will be released in January 2018. The next releases in the Transformers Legends line include: LG-58 Clone Box Set Contents: Cloudraker & Fastlane   LG-59 Blitzwing Contents: Titan Master, Sword, Mini-vehicle LG-60 Overlord Contents: Titan Master Gigatank & Megajet


Official Images: MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus

Recently images of the upcoming Transformers MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus aka Hot Rod have surfaced online.  The new images feature that the latest version of the character will feature a new paint scheme along with his Targetmaster Firebolt.  The figure will also feature a new slot that will allow Firebolt to be able to attach to his vehicular mode.  Transformers MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus will be released in February 2018.  


Transformers Masterpiece Sunstreaker Revealed

Recently new Figure-oh scans have surfaced online, which reveal the new Transformers Masterpiece figure that will be released by Takara Tomy.  The next Masterpiece figure will be Sunstreaker. While the figure is pretty close in design to Masterpiece Sidewipe (for obvious reasons), it will feature a brand new transformation scheme. The scans also reveal that he will include Chip Chase, several weapons, and the mask he wore during the episode “, Hoist Goes Hollywood,” from the original Transformers series.  Currently no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.  


Waspinator Joins Kabam’s Transformers Forged to Fight Mobile Game

The official Transformers: Forged to Fight Youtube channel has updated with the latest playable character trailer for the mobile fighting game. Waspinator from Beast Wars is the latest character to join the roster of Transformers: Forget to Fight.   Despite his loyalty to the Predacon cause, the stalwart Waspinator never gets the respect he deserves from both his team mates or the universe. Official Images: Takara Legends LG-44 Sharkticon, LG-45 Hot Rodimus, LG-46 Kup

Autobase Aichi on twitter has recently revealed official images of the upcoming Transformers Takara Legends figures. The latest reveals include: LG-44 Sharkticon with Sweeps LG-45 Hot Rodimus LG-46 Char (Kup) Both LG-45 Hot Rodimus & LG-46 Char (Kup) will retail for 4,320 Yen and LG -44 Sharkticon will retail for 2160 Yen. All three figures will be released this September. 


Pax East 2017- Transformers: Forged to Fight Trailer Streamed

The official Transformers: Forged to Fight with a new trailer for the upcoming mobile game.  The trailer first debuted during Pax East 2017.  For those who aren’t aware, Transformers: Forged to Fight is a RPG / Fighting mobile game developed by Kabam.  The roster will span across several eras of the franchise, but will mostly feature characters based on the live-action movies and Generation One. Transformers: Forged to Fight will be released on mobile devices on April 5.


Transformers Titan Returns Deluxe Class Slugslinger & Misfire Revealed

TFW2005 has posted official images of Titan Returns Deluxe Class Slugslinger & Misfire.   The figures were revealed at this year’s Australian Toy Fair.   Currently their Titan Masters’ names have not been confirmed, but it is great to see both characters make their way into the Generations toyline.  No other details are confirmed at this time, however expect these figures to release later this Fall.


Transformers Titan Returns Trypticon Fully Revealed

The official Transformers Instagram page updated earlier with the full reveal of Transformers Titan Returns Trypticon.   While the original post has been since taken down the photo has made its way on the web. Currently no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.


Transformers: Titans Return – “More than Meets the Eye” TV Commercial Streamed

The official Hasbro Youtube channel has updated with a new official TV commercial for the Titan Return line.  The trailer features Voyager Class Optimus Prime, Megatron and Deluxe Class Hot Rod.  


Power of the Primes Fan Vote Announced – The Next Leader of Cybertron

Hasbro has recently announced that starting in January, they will be hosting the next “fan built” character for the Transformers franchise. Machinama Announces Two New Transformers Prime Wars Series

Machinama and Hasbro have recently announced that they are once again working together to make two new brand new Transformers Prime Wars series.    The two series will focus on Titan Returns and Power of the Primes, which will be the final two series in the animated Prime Wars trilogy. Gizmodo has recently revealed some new toys for the Transformers RID toyline.  What is really awesome is that many of these new reveals are homages to several characters from the Generation One continuity. Recently, new magazine scans have surfaced on the net, which reveal the first full look at Masterpiece Megatron 2.0.  Unlike the previous release this version is much more accurate to the character. The figure will be released in 2017, however no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
