Crunchyroll & Adult Swim to Produce Blade Runner Anime Series

Variety has reported that Alcon Television Group will be teaming up with Adult Swim and Crunchyroll to produce/ distribute an anime series that is inspired by “Blade Runner 2049.” The series will be titled, “Blade Runner- Black Lotus,” which is stated to consist of 13 half-hour episodes. Netflix to Produce Cowboy Bebop Live-Action Series

Variety has reported that Netflix will help produce the live-action series adaptation of the Cowboy Bebop anime series. For those who are not aware Cowboy Bebop is an anime series produced by Sunrise in 1998. The series was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, who will be supervising the upcoming live-action series adaptation. Funimation to Release Cowboy Bebop the Movie in North American Theaters

Funimation Films has announced that they will be releasing Cowboy Bebop the Movie in North American theaters. For those who are unaware, Cowboy Bebop the Movie was originally released in Japanese theaters under the name, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door on September 1, 2001. Whereas, it was originally released in North American theaters on August 11, 2002. Funimation Announces Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Concepts Campaign

Funimation Entertainment has announced details for a special campaign for the Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition.  Funimation Entertainment provided a promotional video for the campaign on their official Facebook page. The promotional video is narrated by Beau Billingslea aka Jet Black. Fans will be able to chose between three different tiers that will include different bonuses depending on which version are backed.
