Paramount Moves Sonic the Hedgehog Film’s Premiere Date

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Paramount Pictures has recently announced that the Sonic the Hedgehog film’s premiere date has been moved up one week. The film originally was set to premiere on November 15, 2019, however the film will now premiere in theaters on November 8, 2019. Variety has reported that Jim Carrey is in negotiations to portray Doctor Robotnik in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Paramount to Produce Sonic the Hedgehog Film

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that the Sonic the Hedgehog film will now be produced by Paramount Pictures.  The live-action CGI hybrid film was originally going to be produced by Sony Entertainment, however the film has now changed studios. The main production team who was previously working on the project at Sony Entertainment will continue to work on their duties at Paramount Pictures.
