Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of The Night And Rondo of Blood Announced

Yesterday, Konami updated their official Youtube channel with an announcement trailer for Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of The Night And Rondo of Blood. As the name suggests the collection consists of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Both games were released for the original Playstation in 1997 and 1994, respectively. Sony Announces PlayStation Classic

Sony has announced that will be releasing a PlayStation Classic this holiday season. The system will feature 20 classic titles such as Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. The other titles included in the system will be revealed at a later date. The mini version will be approximately 45% smaller than the original console’s size and will be HD compatible. Sony also revealed an official trailer for the system. Grandia & Grandia II HD Nintendo Switch Release Announced

IGN has reported that game publisher, GungHo, has announced that Grandia and Grandia II will be receiving HD remastered versions for the Nintendo Switch. Long time RPG fans should recognize both titles, however for those who are not aware, both Grandia games were beloved RPG classics. Shining Resonance Refrain Story Trailer Streamed

Sega America has updated their official Youtube channel with an official story trailer for Shining Resonance Refrain. For those who are unaware, the game is a remaster of the Japanese exclusive Shining Resonance game that was released for the Playstation 3 in 2014. The official Playstation and Nintendo Youtube channels have updated with the announcement trailer for Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2. For those who are unaware, the Mega Man X Legacy Collections will include the first eight titles in the Mega Man X game series. Monster Hunter World Devil May Cry Collaboration Trailer Streamed

The official Monster Hunter Youtube channel has updated with a new trailer for Monster Hunter World. The latest trailer features a look at the special Devil May Cry collaboration event. After completing the special missions players will be able to get special gear based on Dante from Devil May Cry. Currently no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.  


Shining Resonance Refrain Announcement Trailer Streamed

The official Playstation Youtube channel has updated with an announcement trailer for the Western release of Shining Resonance Refrain.  For those who who not familiar about the series, the game is apart of Sega’s long running Shining game series. The game is also a remaster of the Shining Resonance game that was released only in Japan for the Playstation 3 in 2014. Shining Resonance Refrain will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam in Summer 2018.

The official Monster Hunter Youtube channel has updated with the launch trailer for Monster Hunter: World. The latest trailer features another look at the game’s environments as well as a look at several of the game’s monsters. Monster Hunter: World is now available for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.  


Monster Hunter World: Deviljho Update & Elder Dragons Trailers Streamed

The official Monster Hunter Youtube channel has updated with two new trailers for Monster Hunter: World. The first trailer features a look at one of the upcoming free post launch updates. The update will feature the return of the Deviljho, who was a type of Brute Wyvern that was introduced in Monster Hunter 3.  The update will be available this Spring. The second trailer features at the Elder Dragons and features a look at the various locations throughout the game. Monster Hunter World PC Port Release Details Announced

The official Monster Hunter Youtube channel has updated with an announcement for the PC port of Monster Hunter World. The announcement video features Ryozo Tsujimoto, one of the main producers on the project. Monster Hunter World’s PC port is set to release in Fall 2018.

PGW 2017 – Monster Hunter: World “Rotten Vale” Trailer Streamed

The official Monster Hunter Youtube channel has updated with the 2017 Paris Game Week trailer for Monster Hunter: World.  The latest trailer features a look at the Rotten Vale location of the game.  The trailer also reveals that there will be crossover with Horizon Zero Dawn that will be exclusive for the Playstation 4 version of Monster Hunter World.  PSN Plus members will be able to gain exclusive access to the beta for the game that will be held on December 9-12.  Monster Hunter: World will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam worldwide on January 26, 2018.   


TGS 2017 – Monster Hunter: World Trailer Streamed

The official Monster Hunter Youtube channel has updated with the Tokyo Game Show 2017 trailer for Monster Hunter: World.  For those who are unaware Monster: Hunter World is Capcom’s take into the “open world” genre of gaming set in the world of the Monster Hunter series.  The game will be the first installment in the series to have a worldwide launch. The trailer features another look in the game’s environment and a preview of some of the monsters that will be featured in the game. Final Fantasy IX PS4 Launch Trailer Streamed

IGN has updated their official Youtube channel with the launch trailer for Final Fantasy IX for the Playstation 4.  For those who are unaware Final Fantasy IX was released on the original Playstation on November 13, 2000 in North America. The Playstation 4 version of the game will support trophies and will feature game boosters along with autosaves.  Similar to some older Final Fantasy ports the game will also feature update visuals.  The game is currently listed on PSN priced at $16.79.  The discount will last until September 26.
