Legendary Pictures to Produce My Hero Academia Live-Action Film

Several news outlets have announced that a live-action film adaptation of the My Hero Academia franchise is in the works at Legendary Pictures. The project will be overseen by Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter for Legendary Pictures. Whereas, Ryosuke Yoritomi will oversee the project for Shueisha, who is the publisher of the manga. The official V Jump magazine Youtube channel has updated with new game previews for the My Hero Academia: One’s Justice video game. The previews feature a look at the Story Mode, Mission Mode, Character Customization, and the Free Battle game modes. Funimation recently updated their official Youtube channel with an English Dub clip for the My Hero Academia Two Heroes film. As reported earlier, Funimation and TOHO hosted the worldwide debut of the film at Anime Expo ppm July 5 and the film later premiered in Japan on August 3. The recent issue of the Shonen Jump magazine has revealed a new cast member for the the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film. Over the weekend, the official My Hero Academia film website updated with a new visual for the film. The latest features a look at Melissa and Devitt, who are two new characters that will make a debut appearance in the film. Mirai Shida will be voicing Melissa, who is a “quirkless girl,” and meets Deku on I Island. Her friend’s father, Devitt, will be voiced by Katushisa Namase. Devitt is a scientist who specializes in creating support items for heroes and was a friend of All Might when they were younger. Melissa tries her best to follow in Devitt’s footsteps. The official My Hero Academia website has updated with new visuals for some of the new characters that will be introduced in the third season of the series. Funimation To Simuldub First Six Episodes of My Hero Academia Season 3

Funimation Entertainment has announced that they will be simildubbing the first six episodes of My Hero Academia Season 3 simultaneously as it premieres in Japan on April 7. The series will also simulcast on Crunchyroll and Hulu with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles on the same day.
