Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the Tales of Rays mobile game will be released for the Android and iOS this Summer. Tales of Rays will be a free-to-play game and will feature in app purchases. Unlike some of the other mobile games in the Tales of series the game will feature a very similar battle system to the main line console games and full cinematic cutscenes. The official Transformers: Forged to Fight with a new trailer for the upcoming mobile game. The trailer first debuted during Pax East 2017. For those who aren’t aware, Transformers: Forged to Fight is a RPG / Fighting mobile game developed by Kabam. The roster will span across several eras of the franchise, but will mostly feature characters based on the live-action movies and Generation One. Transformers: Forged to Fight will be released on mobile devices on April 5.
The official Kingdom Hearts Youtube channel has updated with a teaser trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] update for the Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ mobile game. The update will add a “Union Cross” mode, which will allow up to six players to work together in multiplayer quests and will also add new story chapters as well as a new origin story. Capcom has confirmed that the mobile ports of Megaman 1-6 will be heading on Apple and Android devices internationally. While there is no exact date the games will be released outside of Japan in early January. Capcom provided a short synopsis for all six games. Square Enix has recently announced that they are currently working on a new game in the Bravely Default franchise. The game will launch on smartphones under the name Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect. It has also been announced that the game’s developer studio, Silicon Studio, will soon be launching a closed beta on a first come, first served basis. The full game will be released sometime in 2017. Not much else is known about the game at this time so stay tuned for updates.
