LEGO DC Super-Villains Announcement Trailer Streamed

The official Lego Youtube channel has updated with a reveal trailer for the LEGO DC Super-Villains video game. The game is exciting to see specially since the last standalone Lego video game based on the property was Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham in 2014. While DC characters prominently appeared in Lego Dimensions, it has been some time since they had a standalone title.  Unlike the previous games, which were mostly based on the heroes on the DC Universe, the latest game will mostly focus on the villains. Arc System Works has updated their official Youtube channel with a new promotional video for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. For those who are unaware, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighting game that features a crossover between BlazBlue and various other franchises, which includes: Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth, and the RWBY franchises. Yooka-Laylee Nintendo Switch Release Date Announced

Playtonic Games has updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Yooka-Laylee.  The latest trailer features a preview of the Nintendo Switch port of the game and reveals the release date, which will be released digitally on December 14.  For those who haven’t been following the project Yooka-Laylee’s Nintendo Switch port will feature the post release patch, which includes camera control updates and more. Currently it is unknown if the Switch port of the game will receive a physical edition, but for now its great to see it on the platform.  Pre-orders for the game will open on DecemberRead More


E3 2017: Assassin’s Creed Origins Trailer Streamed

Ubisoft has updated their official Youtube channel with the E3 2017 trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins.  The latest game in the franchise will be mostly set in Egypt, which should be quite interesting. Assassin’s Creed Origins will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27.


Chroma Squad Launch Trailer Release

Earlier this morning, Bandai Namco released the trailer for their upcoming Super Hero based Tactical Role Playing Game Chroma Squad. For those who don’t remember Chroma Squad, it was a PC-based fighter game that was crowdfunded by Behold Studios. The original version was released back in 2015 and due to its popularity, It was picked up my a major game developer to be part of the Next-Gen gamers line up.


Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 North American Release Date Announced

Aksys Games has confirmed via their official twitter page that they will publishing Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 in North America on May 26. The game will available in a standalone release, but will also be available as a digital upgrade for players who purchased the original Guilty Gear REV.  The digital upgrade will be priced at $19.99 on PSN for both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.  The game will priced at $49.99 for both the physical copy and also digitally via PSN. E3 2016 – Yooka-Layee Trailer Streamed : Game to Launch Early 2017

Playtonic Games has recently announced that the fan driven Yooka-Layla has been delayed to early 2017.  In the meantime the company’s publisher, Team 17, has posted the E3 trailer for the game.   Playtonic Games also had a response regarding the delay of the game.
