Playtonic Games has updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Yooka-Laylee. The latest trailer features a preview of the Nintendo Switch port of the game and reveals the release date, which will be released digitally on December 14. Ubisoft has updated their official Youtube channel with the E3 2017 trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins. The latest game in the franchise will be mostly set in Egypt, which should be quite interesting. Assassin’s Creed Origins will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27.
Earlier this morning, Bandai Namco released the trailer for their upcoming Super Hero based Tactical Role Playing Game Chroma Squad. For those who don’t remember Chroma Squad, it was a PC-based fighter game that was crowdfunded by Behold Studios. The original version was released back in 2015 and due to its popularity, It was picked up my a major game developer to be part of the Next-Gen gamers line up.
Aksys Games has confirmed via their official twitter page that they will publishing Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 in North America on May 26. The game will available in a standalone release, but will also be available as a digital upgrade for players who purchased the original Guilty Gear REV. The digital upgrade will be priced at $19.99 on PSN for both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. The game will priced at $49.99 for both the physical copy and also digitally via PSN. Playtonic Games has recently announced that the fan driven Yooka-Layla has been delayed to early 2017. In the meantime the company’s publisher, Team 17, has posted the E3 trailer for the game. Playtonic Games also had a response regarding the delay of the game.
