SDCC 2017: Big Hero 6 The Series First Look

IGN has posted a clip for the upcoming Big Hero 6 animated series that was shown at San Diego Comic Con 2017.  The clip features Bay Max and Hiro fighting off against several booby traps.  The Big Hero 6 animated series will premiere on Disney XD this Fall. Personally I think the animation looks alright, but it does look rough around the edges.  Hopefully things will improve when the series airs later this year. Source: IGN


Big Hero 6: The Series Intro Streamed

Disney XD has updated their official Youtube channel with the intro for the Big Hero 6 animated series.  Unlike the film that was released in 2014, the series will be mostly 2D animated.  The Big Hero 6 animated series will premiere on Disney XD this Fall.


Marvel’s Spider-Man Cast Revealed

Recently new casting details from Marvel’s Spider-Man have been reveled at this year’s D23 Expo.  Ryan Penagos, Vice President & Executive Editor of Marvel Entertainment Digital Media posted slides from the event on his official Twitter page.  The series will premiere on Disney XD on at 7 A.M. with a big hour premiere on August 19. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 Deluxe Edition Announced

Marvel Entertainment has announced that Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be receiving a “Deluxe Edition.” Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game will also receive a Giant-Man Minifigure as well as Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack along with the rest of the Season Pass. The official Lego Youtube channel has updated with the full trailer for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. The latest trailer features a look at the all star cast of characters and features a better look at the setting of the game. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be released for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on November 14. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be released at a later date. Spider-Man Spinoff Film: Silver and Black Director Revealed

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed some details about the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off film titled “, Silver and Black.”  As the name suggests the film will focus on the Silver Sable and Black Cat. The film will be produced by Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal with the film set at a October 2018 premiere date. The recent draft for the film will written by Chris Yost (Thor: Ragnarok) with the help of Lisa Joy (HBO’s Westworld).   The director for the film is Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees). No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.  


Marvel Announces Mace Windu Comic Mini-Series

The official Star Wars website has updated with the reveal that Marvel will be releasing a new Star Wars comic mini-series this August.  The five issue miniseries titled “, Star Wars: Jedi of the Republic — Mace Windu,” will star the Jedi hero, Mace Windu. Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Marvel Entertainment has announced that a sequel to Lego Marvel Superheroes is in the works. The sequel will lead players into various worlds that weren’t featured in the first game as players explore space and the new hub world of Chronopolis. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 14.  The game will also be available for the Nintendo Switch later this year. Animated Deadpool Series Announced

Variety has reported that a new animated Deadpool series has been green-lit.  The series will debut on FXX in 2018 and the first season will run for 10 episodes.  Unlike most of the standard TV animated series by Marvel, the Deadpool animated series is targeted towards adults so expect more insane action. The Ghost Rider To Appear In Marvel’s Agents of Shield Season 4 Finale

Marvel has announced that the Ghost Rider will be returning to Marvel’s Agents of Shield in the Season 4 finale.
