Variety has reported that Ewan McGregor is in talks to portray Black Mask in the upcoming “Birds of Prey” film. For those are not aware, the film will focus on the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Windstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) as they fight against Black Mask. Gotham City police detective, Rosie Perez (Rosie Perez), will also be making an appearance in the film. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. After the initial announcement last year, details have been scarce for the upcoming DC Entertainment streaming service. Today DC finally revealed the first details about the service The streaming service will be known as DC Universe, and will allow subscribers to have unlimited access to several exclusive content. Some highlights include the long awaited Young Justice: Outsiders animated series, the live-action DC’s Titans series, and DC’s Harley Quinn animated series. Several new outlets have reported that Cathy Yan is set to direct the next DC spinoff film, which will focus on Harley Quinn. The film will be based on the Birds of the Prey comic series and Margot Robbie will return to reprise the titular role.
