Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 6: Our Future Premiere Date Announced

The official Digimon Adventure Tri website has updated with the premiere date announcement for the final chapter of the OVA. The final chapter titled, “Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 6: Our Future will premiere in Japanese theaters on May 5th, 2018.  Expect the film to be simulcasted on Crunchyroll around the same date. The official website also provided a poster for Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 6: Our Future.

Crunchyroll to Stream Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 5: Symbiosis

Toei Animation has announced on their official Twitter page that Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 5: Symbiosis will be streaming on Crunchyroll.  The penultimate chapter will be simulcasted on the service on September 30 (JST) so expect it to arrive on the service in morning of September 29 (P.T.).  No other details are confirmed at this time, however expect to see more information within the next couple of days. Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 2: Determination US Blu-ray Release Date Announced

Amazon has recently opened preorders for the English release of Digimon Adventure Chapter 2: Determination. According to Amazon it will be released on August 15.  The Blu-ray is currently listed at $24.99 and the DVD is priced at $14.99. Currently no other details about the releases such as special features etc are confirmed at this time, however those who are interested in preordering a copy can check out the listings on Amazon.  


Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger – Tenth Kyuranger Revealed?

A new magazine shot has surfaced online that reveals that a tenth Kyuranger will possibly be appearing on the show. *Keep in mind this news hasn’t been 100% confirmed so please take this with a grain of salt. The tenth Kyuranger will apparently be named RyuuCommander and his identity will be none other than the Kyuranger’s mentor, Shon Ronbou.  Hopefully some full confirmation will be revealed soon in the near future, but for now stay tuned for updates.  Uchu Sentai Kyuranger will premiere on February 12.

Yesterday, TV-Asahi released a full trailer for Uchu Sentai Kyuuranger. The trailer highlights each of the Kyuurangers, villains, and mecha. Furthermore, the trailer is accompanied by the show’s opening theme song, LUCKY STAR. The series is schedule to succeed Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger on Feburary 12 as a part of Super Hero Time block. Kyuuranger will feature Takayuki Shibasaki as its head director and Nobuhiro Mouri as head writer. Shibasaki and Mouri previously worked together on Go-Busters, OOO, and Gaim.
