Star Wars Han Solo Film Official Title Revealed

The official Star Wars website has updated with the reveal of the upcoming Han Solo standalone film.  The title for the film will officially be called Solo: A Star Wars Story.   This announcement is not all too surprising since it matches the title style seen for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.    Director Ron Howard also posted a special message about the film on his official twitter page. The official Star Wars Youtube channel has updated with a new trailer for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.  The latest trailer delves deeper into the film’s story and it is looking to be quite epic.  Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will premiere in theaters on December 15. Tickets for the film are currently available via Fandango for those who are interested.

J.J. Abrams To Write And Direct Star Wars: Episode IX

The official Star Wars website has updated with the announcement that J.J. Abrams will return and direct Star Wars: Episode IX.  For those who are unaware the original director for the film, Colin Trevorrow, left directorial duties earlier last week.  J.J. Warrick Davis Joins Han Solo Standalone Film Cast

Ron Howard to Direct Han Solo Film

Lucasfilm has recently announced the Ron Howard will be taking directorial duties for the Han Solo standalone film. Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Vanity Fair Covers Revealed

The official Vanity Fair magazine website has updated with the reveal of four new magazine covers that feature Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. The covers feature several of the new outfits for the returning cast including a first full look at Rose, played by Kelly Marie Tran.  Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will premiere in theaters on December, 15, 2017.    Personally I think that Vanity did a great tribute to Carrie Fisher and I hope she has a great final role in the upcoming film.   


Star Wars Episode IX & Next Indiana Jones Sequel Premiere Dates Announced

The official Star Wars website has updated with the announcement of premiere dates for Star Wars Episode XI and the next Indiana Jones.    Star Wars Episode XI will premiere on May 24, 2019.  The film will be directed by Colin Trvorrow and will be the final film in the new Star Wars trilogy. The fifth chapter of the Indiana Jones films will premiere on July 10, 2020.  The film will be once again directed by Steven Spielberg and will feature Harrison Ford once again as Indiana Jones. No other details are confirmed at this time time so stay tuned for updates.  


First Look At Han Solo Film Cast

The official Star Wars website has updated with the first look at the cast of the upcoming Han Solo standalone film.  Filming for the movie has started at the Pinewood Studios in London.  It has also been confirmed that Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Thandie Newton have joined the cast of the film. Woody Harrelson Cast in Han Solo Film

Rumors were floating around for some time that Woody Harrelson will be a part of the upcoming Han Solo film.  Today, the official Star Wars website updated with the confirmation that he will indeed be in the film.  Woody Harrelson is a veteran actor who is best known for his roles in the Hunger Games, Zombie Land, and more.  Currently his role has not be revealed, however it is nice to see his inclusion in the film.
