DC Entertainment has recently announced that a new Doom Patrol TV series will be joining the lineup for their DC Universe streaming service. The series will be produced by Berlanti Productions with the help of Warner Bros. Television. The first season of the series is currently set to 13 episodes and is said to start production later this year with the series releasing on the service in 2019. Today DC finally revealed the first details about the service The streaming service will be known as DC Universe, and will allow subscribers to have unlimited access to several exclusive content. Deadline has revealed that Warner Bros has announced that David Goyer and Justin Rhodes will be the main script writers for the Green Lanter Corps film. Goyer will also serve as the producer with the help of executive producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.
