Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry U.S. & Canadian Theatrical Date Announced

Funimation Films has announced the US and Canadian premiere dates for Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry.  The film will open in 300 theaters in the US and 12 theaters in Canada.  The Japanese version of the film will premiere on August 14 and will feature English subtitles. New York Comic Con 2017 to Host Hiro Mashima

Kodansha Comics announced during Anime Expo that Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail, will be hosted at New York Comic Con 2017.  For those who are unaware, Hiro Mashima, is known for his Fairy Tail manga series, which launched in 2006.  He is also known for creating the Rave Master franchise which is known as Groove Adventure Rave in Japan.  New York Comic Con 2017 will be held at the Javits Center on October 5-8.  


Fairy Tail Dragon Cry “Action” Trailer

We have another trailer for the upcoming Fairy Tail film entitled “Fairy Tail Dragon Cry” this trailer I’ve dubbed it as the “action” trailer. Given the prior trailers and teasers, this one is the most action heavy. Personally, I have to catch up on Fairy Tail, so I don’t have any critical thoughts or theories.
