Dragon Ball Super Anime Ending in March

Last week it was rumored that Dragon Ball Super could be ending in the near future, however no concrete details were revealed for some time. Premium Bandai has updated with an official pre-order page for S.H.Figuarts Master Roshi. For those who haven’t been following the franchise, Master Roshi was the mentor to Goku and Krillin in their early years during the events of the Dragon Ball anime series/ manga series.  After the events of Dragon Ball the character has become a supporting character that helps the Z Fighters in their fight against various villains. Additional Cast for Funimation’s Dragon Ball Super ‘Future Trunks’ Arc

Funimation has recently revealed new cast members for the upcoming Future Trunks arc for Dragon Ball Super.  The new cast members include: Eric Vale: Future Trunks Colleen Clinkenbeard: Future Mai Sean Schemmel: Goku Black David Gray: Zamasu Garrett Schenck: Gowasu For those who haven’t been following the series, the Future Trunks arc debuted with episode 47 on June 12, 2016 in Japan and ran until episode 76, which aired on January 29, 2017. The Future Trunks arc will premiere this Saturday on Toonami with Episode 47. New episodes air at 10:30 p.m.

Bandai Tamashii has updated their official website for their Dragon Ball products with images of S.H.Figuarts Frieza Final Form.  The figure features some new retooled parts and is based on his appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ & Dragon Ball Super. The photos feature that the figure will include alternate face parts, various alternate wrists, a halo, a tamashii stage, and effect pieces.  The figure will be a standard retail release in April 2018 priced at 5,616 Yen. Expect pre-orders to open soon at your preferred Japanese online retailer.

Anime Expo 2017: Ultimate Deco Super Saiyan Goku Exclusive Revealed

Bandai America has announced that they will be offering a special Utimate Deco Super Saiyan Goku figure exclusively at Anime Expo 2017. For those who are unaware, Bandai America is soon to be releasing “Power Rangers Legacy” stylized figures based on the Dragon Ball characters. Android 17’s Return Episode Premiere Date Announced

Recently a new magazine shot has surfaced online that reveals some new details about Android 17’s return on Dragon Ball Super. He will be making his first full appearance in episode 86, which will premiere on April 16th.  I personally can’t wait to see the character return and hopefully it will lead into some more great action packed battles.


New Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Arc Details Revealed

Thanks to the latest issue of the V-Jump magazine more details about the upcoming Universe Survival Arc have been revealed.  The Androids from Universe 7 will be the first confirmed team members representing their universe.  The God of Destruction and his friend from universe 7 were also revealed. Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Saga Preview Streamed

Toei Animation has posted a trailer for Dragon Ball Super on their official Youtube channel, which was first shown at this year’s Jump Festa.   The latest trailer features a look throughout the previous seasons of the series leading up to the upcoming season. The Universe Survival Saga will premiere on February 5 in Japan. The newest opening for the series will be titled “, Limit Breakthrough x Survivor (Genkai Toppa x Survivor).” The song will be performed by Kiyoshi Hikawa with lyrics by Yukinoko and composed by Takafumi Iwasaki. Dragon Ball Super Space Survival Arc Preview

Earlier today a preview for Dragon Ball Super surfaced online, which reveals some minor details about the upcoming arc of the series. The next arc titled the “Space Survival” arc seems to feature the return of Android 17 and hopefully will feature Gohan fighting full force again.   More information regarding the arc will be revealed on February 5, 2017.


Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters to Premiere on Toonami

Dragon Ball Super Dub to Premiere on Toonami

Funimation has recently announced that the English Dub for Dragon Ball Super will be airing on Toonami.  The series will debut on January 7, 2017 at 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m EST.  The series will start with Season One, which consists of 26 episodes and will features the Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F story arcs.  New episodes will premiere every Saturday. Funimation has recently announced the Dub cast for Dragon Ball Super.  The cast will consist of many returning voice actors such as Sean Schemmel (Goku), Christopher R. Sabat (Vegeta), Sonny Strait (Krillen),  Jason Douglas (Beerus), Ian Sinclair (Whis), and more. The official Premium Bandai website has recently updated with a preorder page for the Dragon Radar based n the device used in the Dragon Ball franchise.  Preorders for the item are currently open and they will close on January 31.   The CSA Dragon Radar will feature LED lights and a built in sensor.
