The series will be produced by Berlanti Productions with the help of Warner Bros. Television. Several new outlets have reported that Cathy Yan is set to direct the next DC spinoff film, which will focus on Harley Quinn. The film will be based on the Birds of the Prey comic series and Margot Robbie will return to reprise the titular role.
