DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Production Halted

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the production of the upcoming DC Universe exclusive “Swamp Thing” series has been halted. Originally 13 episodes were being produced for the first season of the series, however it has been revealed that the first season will be cut short to 10 episodes. DC recently released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Joker movie. The trailer features a look at the setting of the film and showcases Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) as he lives his life as a comedian in Gotham city. Warner Bros. recently revealed that second season of the DC Universe exclusive “Titans” series will premiere on the service this Fall. The news was revealed during their official panel at Wonder Con 2019. Deadline has reported that Chelsea T. Zhang will be joining the cast of the DC Universe exclusive Titans live-action series as Rose Wilson aka Ravager. As reported earlier, it was revealed that Esai Morales will be portraying Deathstroke, and Chella Man will portraying Rose’s brother Jericho. The official DC Universe website has updated with the announcement that Chella Man is joining the cast of Titans as Joseph William Wilson aka Jericho. Yesterday, Deadline reported that Ernie Hudson will be guest starring on Arrow as a “Four Star General of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency).” According  to the character description provided by Deadline, he will be playing someone in Diggle’s past who will need to work with Team Arrow in hindsight of Diggle’s unresolved conflicts with him. Collider has recently revealed new details about the team that will be featured in The Suicide Squad sequel. Variety has reported that Idris Elba will be replacing Will Smith as Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” sequel. According to Variety, Will Smith left the project due to scheduling conflicts.
