Over the weekend, the official Sword Art Online twitter page updated with a new trailer for Sword Art Online: Alicization. The promo features a preview of the new theme song titled, “Resister,”which will be performed by ASCA. The new theme song will debut on the show starting on January 12, 2019. The new ending theme song for the anime will be titled, “Forget-me-not,” and will be performed by ReoNa. Reki Kawahara to Write Original Short Story for Sword Art Online: Alicization Home Video Release

The official Sword Art Online: Alicization anime website has updated with a summary of a brand new short story that will be released with the first Blu-ray/ DVD volume of the series. LiSA & Eir Aoi to Perform Sword Art Online: Alicization Anime’s Theme Songs

The official Sword Art Online: Alicization anime website has updated with the announcement that LiSA will be performing the theme song for the series titled, “Adamas.” The website also revealed that Eir Aoi will be performing the ending theme song titled, “Iris.” The song Iris will be available as a single, which will be released on October 24.  The hour long premiere for the series will air in Japan on September 15, and will also be featured at the premiere event in Los Angeles on the same date. Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale English Dub Premiere Date Announced

Aniplex of America has recently opened ticket sales for the English Dub screenings for the Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale film.  The Dub of the film will premiere on April 22, although some theater listings will be on April 23.  The film will be distributed by Azoland Pictures. The first screening of the Dub will be shown at the Anime Boston convention, which will be held in Boston, Massachusetts on March 21 through April 2.
