Official Images: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Toys

Transformers Cyberverse Toys Revealed

Gizmodo has recently revealed the first look at the toys based on upcoming Transformers Cyberverse animated series. For those who are unaware, Transformers Cyberverse is the latest upcoming animated series based on the Transformers brand. Usagi Yojimbo Animated Series in the Works

It has recently been reported that an animated series based on Usagi Yojimbo is the works by Gaumont and Dark Horse Entertainment. The series will be produced by Dark Horse Entertainment, James Wan, and Stan Sakai, the creator of Usagi Yojimbo.  Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should recognize this character through his various cameo appearances, however this will be the first time he will be getting his own animated series. The official Teenage Mutant Ninja Mutant Ninja Turtles twitter has updated with the first look at the character designs for the upcoming animated series.  For those who are unaware, the next series will be a 2D animated series titled, “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”  The series will feature some major changes including Raphael being the leader of the turtles and for the first time April O’Neil will depicted as an African American. Illumination Entertainment to Produce Super Mario Film

Last November it was revealed that Illumination Entertainment was in talks to produce a film based on the Super Mario franchise.  Today Nintendo announced that they have partnered up with the company and the producers for the film will be Chris Meledandri, founder of Illumination Entertainment, and Shigeru Miyamato.   The film will be distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures and will be co-funding by the company and Nintendo. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.  


Netflix Castlevania Series’ Second Season Premiere Date Announced

Over the weeked, Warren Ellis, writer and editor for the Netflix Castlevania animated series, has announced that the second season will premiere on the platform this Summer.  As reported earlier last year the season is stated to be consisted of 8 episodes.  Currently no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. Hobby Dengeki Web has recently revealed the next figure that will be released in Takara Tomy’s Transformers Masterpiece toyline. Mark Hamill & Ron Perlman Join Transformers: Power of the Primes Animated Series

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that Mark Hamill and Ron Perlman have joined the team of the upcoming Transformers: Power of the Primes animated series.  Mark Hamill will be voicing the first Decepticon, Megatronus, who was exiled from Cybertron for killing one of the original Thirteen Primes. Megatronus will be playing a key role in the finale of Machinama’s animated projects based on the Transformers franchise. Micronauts Animated Series Announced

The Rollingstone has recently reported about a recent interview between Glixel and Wizards of the Coast about how the company has innovated their products over the years.  While it is hasn’t been formally announced Chris Cocks, president of Wizards of the Coast, subtly revealed that a new trading card game based on the Transformers franchise, which will be releasing in Fall 2018. Over the Holiday weekend, Hasbro Studios also revealed details about the Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy animated series.  For those who haven’t been following the series is set to continue where the original Transformers: Rescue Bots animated series left off. The series will feature an all new team with some appearances of the veteran cast.
