Bandai Namco Pictures has announced that Lynn Harris (Global Road Entertainment’s President of Worldwide Production) and Akiva Goldsman (Weed Road Pictures) have joined the production team of the live-action adaptation of the Tiger & Bunny anime series. Ellen Shanman will be working as the screenplay writer for the film while Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Erica Huggins (Imagine Entertainment), and Masayuki Ozaki (Bandai Namco Pictures) will be serving as the producers on the project. Yahoo Movies has recently announced that Michael Bay has confirmed that scripts for 14 more potential films based on the Transformers franchise are in the works. The news was first revealed during the Transformers: The Last Knight preview event that took place in London’s Cineworld IMAX. According to Michael Bay, the film is stated to be a stepping stone into a larger universe for the franchise. Currently no other news have been confirmed about the upcoming projects, however expect more robot fighting action in the near future and on.
The official Transformers Facebook page and the official Transformers Movie instagram page have recently updated with the announcement that Megatron will be returning in Transformers 5: The Last Knight. Nothing else has been confirmed though it it is interesting to see the leader of the Decepticons return as Megatron.
