Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Switch Release Date Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the release date for the Nintendo Switch port of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.   Back in May, it was revealed that the game would be releasing this Fall in the west, however today they revealed the exact release date for the game. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to release for the Nintendo Switch on September 22.   Bandai Namco Entertainment also posted details about the new features of the Nintendo Switch version of the game as well as some screenshots. E3 2017: Dragon Ball Fighter Z Trailer Streamed

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has updated their official Youtube channel with the E3 2017 trailer for Dragon Ball Fighter Z. As mentioned earlier, the game will feature a 3 vs 3 battle system and a 2.5D fighting style.  The latest trailer features a look at some of the battle mechanics and more.  Dragon Ball Fighter Z will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC early in 2018.  


Dragon Ball Fighters 2D Fighting Game Announced

Bandai Namco has recently announced that a new Dragon Ball Z fighting game will be released worldwide early next year.  The game will be titled “, Dragon Ball Fighters,” and will go back the traditional 2.5D fighting style. Western Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Nintendo Switch Release Date Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment America and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have announced the release date for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.  The game will be available in both regions later this Fall. Android 17’s Return Episode Premiere Date Announced

Recently a new magazine shot has surfaced online that reveals some new details about Android 17’s return on Dragon Ball Super. He will be making his first full appearance in episode 86, which will premiere on April 16th.  I personally can’t wait to see the character return and hopefully it will lead into some more great action packed battles.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment and Dimps have announced that a new Dragon Ball game will be releasing on the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be titled “, Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate X, ” and will be released on the system on April 27th. For those who aren’t aware the game is a handheld edition of the latest version of the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card in Japan.  No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.    


New Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Arc Details Revealed

Thanks to the latest issue of the V-Jump magazine more details about the upcoming Universe Survival Arc have been revealed.  The Androids from Universe 7 will be the first confirmed team members representing their universe.  The God of Destruction and his friend from universe 7 were also revealed. Toei Animation has posted a trailer for Dragon Ball Super on their official Youtube channel, which was first shown at this year’s Jump Festa.   The latest trailer features a look throughout the previous seasons of the series leading up to the upcoming season. The Universe Survival Saga will premiere on February 5 in Japan. The newest opening for the series will be titled “, Limit Breakthrough x Survivor (Genkai Toppa x Survivor).” The song will be performed by Kiyoshi Hikawa with lyrics by Yukinoko and composed by Takafumi Iwasaki. Dragon Ball Super Space Survival Arc Preview

Earlier today a preview for Dragon Ball Super surfaced online, which reveals some minor details about the upcoming arc of the series. The next arc titled the “Space Survival” arc seems to feature the return of Android 17 and hopefully will feature Gohan fighting full force again.   More information regarding the arc will be revealed on February 5, 2017.


Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King Morrie & Red Introduction Videos Streamed

Earlier today Nintendo posted two new introduction videos for Morrie and Red who will be featured in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS port of the Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King game.   The videos feature some new battle footage of both characters. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will be released on January 20, 2017 in North America.


Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters to Premiere on Toonami

In addition to the previously reported Dragon Ball Super news, Funimation has also announced that English Dub of the Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z Kai will also be airing on Toonami. The Buu Saga will be going under the name Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters and will premiere on Toonami on January 7 at Midnight EST.   Funimation also provided a synopsis for the series. Dragon Ball Super Dub to Premiere on Toonami

Funimation has recently announced that the English Dub for Dragon Ball Super will be airing on Toonami.  The series will debut on January 7, 2017 at 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m EST.  The series will start with Season One, which consists of 26 episodes and will features the Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F story arcs.  New episodes will premiere every Saturday.
