Nobuyuki Suzuki to Reprise Role in 2nd Live-Action Tokyo Ghoul Film
The official live-action Tokyo Ghoul website has updated with the announcement that Noboyuki Suzuki will be returning to reprise his role as Kōtarō Amon in Tokyo Ghoul 2.
The previously revealed cast members include:
- Masataka Kubota: Ken Kaneki
- Maika Yamamoto: Tōka Kirishima
- Shū Tsukiyama: Shota Matsuda
- Shunya Shiraishi: Nishiki Nishio
- Kai Ogasawara: Hideyoshi “Hide” Nagachicka
The first live-action Tokyo Ghoul film premiered at Anime Expo in July 3, 2017 and later premiered on July 7 in Berlin. The film made its first Japanese debut at the Marunouchi Piccadilly theater in Chiyoda, Tokyo on July 10 and also made it’s theatrical debut on July 29, 2017.
The first film also received limited theatrical in the United States in October 2017, which was hosted by Funimation.
Tokyo Ghoul 2 is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on July 19. 2019.
