Len Wiseman to Direct DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Pilot
Deadline has reported that Len Wiseman will be working double shifts as the executive producer and director for the first episode of the live-action Swamp Thing series. For those who have not been keeping up to date, the series is going to be a part of the live-action series line-up on the upcoming DC Universe streaming service. Other confirmed shows in the service’s live-action line-up include DC’S Titans, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn, and Stargirl. The series will feature characters from the Swamp Thing comics created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson.
The Swamp Thing series will be produced by James Wan’s Atomic Monster in association with Warner Bros. Television.
No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
As reported earlier, the DC Universe streaming service will launch on September 15. Swamp Thing will premiere on the service in 2019.
