Future Card Buddyfight Ace Anime Details Revealed

Recently new details about the upcoming Future Card Buddyfight Ace (Future Card Shin Buddyfight) anime series was revealed during a presentation that was held at the Akihabara UDX Theater in Tokyo.

First, a new promotional video was revealed and was also posted to official Japanese Future Card Buddyfight Youtube channel. The promotional video features the anime’s theme song titled, “Saa Ikō!,” which will be performed by the band, Poppin’ Party.  The anime’s ending theme song is titled, Buddy☆Funny Days,” and will be performed by Takumi Mano, Shūta Morishima, and Daiki Kobayashi as their respective characters in the series.

 

The confirmed cast consists of:

  • Takumi Mano: Yuga Mikado
  • Tetsu Inada: Gargantua Dragon
  • Shūta Morishima: Masato Rikuō
  • Daiki Kobayashi:  Subaru Hoshiyomi
  • Rimi Nishimoto (Poppin’ Party), Haru Mikado, Aimi (Poppin’ Party):  Amaterasu

The event also featured a visual that showcases five currently unnamed characters.

Future Card Buddyfight Ace Character Visual Future Card Buddyfight Ace Anime Details Revealed

Future Card Buddyfight Ace (Future Card Shin Buddyfight) takes place 23 years after the events of Future Card Buddyfight X. The series revolves around Yuga Mikado, who is the son of Gao Mikado. Yuga is a natural when it comes to games thus gaining him the title of the “Ace of Gaming,” While he is good at games, Buddyfight is the first card game he invests in.  His main Buddy is named Gargantua Dragon, who goes by the nickname, Garga.

The anime adapts the manga series titled, “Future Card Shin Buddyfight,” which is created by Mitsuhisa Tamura. The manga series launched in the in the June issue of the Coro Coro Comics magazine Tuesday in Japan.

The Future Card Buddyfight Ace (Future Card Shin Buddyfight) anime series will premiere in Japan on June 2. The series will air on TV Aichi, TV Tokyo, BS, Japan, and other networks.  The series will also stream on the official Future Card Buddyfight Youtube channel in it’s original Japanese format with English subtitles.
