Mazinger Z: INFINITY – Official Theatrical Clip Streamed

Viz Media has posted an official theatrical clip for Mazinger Z: Infinity on their official Youtube channel.  The clip features a preview of the battle between Great Mazinger and the mechanical beasts; Garada and Doublass. Mazinger Z: Infinity will premiere as a two day event in theaters on February 11 and February 12. Those who are interested can order their tickets at the link listed below.  


Game of Thrones Creators David Benioff & D.B. Weiss to Produce Star Wars Films

The official Star Wars website has recently updated with announcement that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss is set to produce a series of Star Wars films. B: The Beginning Anime English Preview Streamed

Netflix Japan has posted an English dubbed trailer for the B: The Beginning anime series.  The new trailer features a preview of the anime’s theme song titled, ” The Perfect World.”  The song was a joint effort between Marty Friedman (song, arrangement, guitar), MAN WITH A MISSION’s Jean-Ken Johnny (vocals), KenKen (bass), and Kōji Fujimoto (arrangement, programming). Pacific Rim Uprising Japanese Preview Streamed

Cinema Today has updated their official Youtube channel with a new Japanese promo video for Pacific Rim Uprising. The latest preview features another look at the battle between the Jaegars and the Kaiju.  Pacific Rim Uprising will premiere in North American theaters on March 23 and will distributed by Universal Pictures.  The film will premiere in Japan on April 13 and distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures Japan.   


Live-Action Bleach Film Premiere Date Announced

It was recently revealed in the recent issue of the Shonen Jump magazine has revealed some new details about the live-action film adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga series. First, it has been revealed that Hana Sugisaki will be portraying Rukia Kuchiki in the film.  The other major detail that the magazine revealed was the release date for the film. The official Star Wars Youtube channel has updated with the full teaser trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story. The trailer was initially shown earlier today during the recent airing of Good Morning America. The latest trailer features more scenes that were not present in the Superbowl trailer. Looking at the full teaser trailer, I personally think the film is turning out to be one of the more interesting films that we have gotten so far.  Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to premiere in theaters on May 25.  


Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War – Big Game Spot Streamed

Marvel Entertainment has updated their official Youtube channel with a new TV spot for Avengers: Infinity War.  The TV spot first premiered during the commercial break of Super Bowl LII. The latest TV spot features the Avengers getting ready for the big battle.  Looking at the trailer it is clear the film is going to be quite the ride. Avengers: Infinity Wars will premiere in theaters on May 4.

Legendary Voltron Season 5 Premiere Date Announced

The official Legendary Defender Instagram page has revealed that season 5 of the series will be launching on Netflix on March 2.   For those who haven’t been following the series, the fourth season launched on the platform on October 13, 2017, so it has been some time since the last season was released.  Currently no other details such as episode count have been confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. Illumination Entertainment to Produce Super Mario Film

Last November it was revealed that Illumination Entertainment was in talks to produce a film based on the Super Mario franchise.  Today Nintendo announced that they have partnered up with the company and the producers for the film will be Chris Meledandri, founder of Illumination Entertainment, and Shigeru Miyamato.   The film will be distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures and will be co-funding by the company and Nintendo. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
