20th Century Fox No Longer Showing Footage at SDCC?
Yesterday, TheWrap reported that 20th Century Fox will no longer showcase its upcoming movie releases at Hall H at San-Diego Comic-Con this year. The main reason being that they feel as though they cannot prevent fans from recording what is exclusive video and sharing it on the Internet. I have to say I can’t be mad at 20th Century Fox for making this decision if TheWrap insider is to be believed.
I always felt that exclusive SDCC movie footage should only be for those attending that panel. Those of us who cannot attend shouldn’t be seeing that footage because it defeats the point of those who go to the convention. I want to feel as though I saw something exclusive, brag to my friends about it, and watch them react when the studio decides to release it later that year. Especially in cases like Deadpool and The Suicide Squad film where those teases were unfinished. My rant aside, let me know what you think down below. Do you agree or disagree with 20th Century Fox possible decision? I’m XBen3000 and I’m out!
