Second Persona 5 Anime Special Announced

Aniplex has announced that the Persona 5 anime adaptation will be receiving a second anime special. The special will be titled, “Persona 5 the Animation Stars and Ours,” and will air in March 2019. The upcoming special will serve a the second half of the two specials overall. Golden Kamuy Anime’s 2nd OVA Cast Members Announced

The official Golden Kamuy website has updated with the cast announcement for two new characters that will debut in the second OVA for the anime.  The new cast members include: Toshio Furukawa: Chōan Kumagishi Sumi Shimamoto: Sister Miyazawa The OVA will be released with the 17th volume on the manga, which will be released on March 19, 2019. Pre-orders for the special edition of the volume that includes the OVA will close on January 15, 2019 in Japan. Battle Spirits Three Episode Anime Announced

The official Battle Spirits website has updated with the announcement that the franchise will be receiving a new three episode anime series. The series will be released in 2019 and will serve as a sequel to both Battle Spirits: Shōnen Gekiha Dan and Battle Spirits: Brave. The series will be directed by Masaki Watanabe, which will be produced by Bandai Namco Pictures. Atsuhiro Tomioka will be returning to work on the scripts for the project. Bandai Namco Entertainment recently updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission. The game will feature over 1,160 cards that includes 350 characters that have been apart of the first eight Super Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card games. Deadline has reported that Tigress, Sportsmaster, and Dragon King will be joining the villain roster of the DC Universe exclusive Stargirl live-action series. The trio are apart of the Injustice Society, who are group of master criminals, which debuted in All Star Comics #37. The team also served as the evil counterpart to the Justice Society of America.  Joy Osmanski will be portraying Paula Brooks, aka the second Tigress.
