Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!’s Ending Song Preview Streamed

The official Pokémon Youtube channel has updated with a new trailer for Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! (Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Kimi ni Kimeta!).  The latest trailer features a preview for the ending theme of the film titled “, Oración Theme: Walk Together” (Oración no Theme ~Tomo ni Arukou~), which is performed by Futoshi of The Aqua Timez. The song was composed and arranged by Akimitsu Honma.  The song is based on the song “, Oración,” which was performed by Shinji Miyazaki. The original song was the instrumental insert song for the Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai film that was released in 2007.   Pokémon theRead More


Gintama Anime to Return in October With Porori Arc

The official Gintama anime website has revealed that the series will be returning this October on Tokyo TV with the the “Porori Arc.” In addition to this announcement the August issue of the Animedia magazine will be revealing a “surprising” announcement about the franchise, although currently no other details are confirmed at this time. The August issue of the magazine will be released on July 10.   


New York Comic Con 2017 to Host Hiro Mashima

Kodansha Comics announced during Anime Expo that Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail, will be hosted at New York Comic Con 2017.  For those who are unaware, Hiro Mashima, is known for his Fairy Tail manga series, which launched in 2006.  He is also known for creating the Rave Master franchise which is known as Groove Adventure Rave in Japan.  New York Comic Con 2017 will be held at the Javits Center on October 5-8.  


DX Houou Blade & Houou Shield Official Images

Bandai’s website has listed up the product page for the Transformation DX Houou Blade & Houou Shield! The Houou Blade & Houou Shield are the signature weapons, and transformation device for the twelfth Kyuranger, Houou Soldier. The deluxe toy as expected is much smaller than what will be seen in the series, as its meant for kids. The DX Houou Blade and Shield will feature both, lights and sounds. Kyutama Gattai DX Houou Voyager Official Images

Over the weekend, Bandai Japan updated their website with the official listing for DX Houou Voyager, Houou Soldier’ssignature mecha. The DX Houou Voyager will include the DX Houou Kyutama, and will be able to separate into its various components. In addition, the toy will feature lights and sounds. The Houou Voyager will be able to combine with the Houou Station and Houou Base to become Gigant HouOh. Furthermore, by utilizing the other Kyurangers’ henshin-related Kyutamas, and the Shishi Voyager, it will allow Gigant HouOh to further combine into Kyutamajin. The DX Houou Voyager will be sold at retail for 9,180 yen, and will be released on July 29.

Premium Bandai has updated with an official pre-order page for DX Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat (Ride Player Ver.).  As the name states this version of the Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat will feature sounds based on the Ride Players along with several of Nico’s phrases.  The Gashat will also prominently feature the Ride Player design and will be released in a special box based on the packaging seen on the show. Stardust Crusaders Heads to Toonami

Over the weekend, it was announced that Jojo Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusader’s dub will be joining the Toonami Line just like its predecessors. Toonami stated the anime would start on July 29. Now we do not know if Toonami will be airing both of Part 3’s seasons or just the first part. Ready for another announcement? Gundam Versus US Release Date Announced
